The CDC office in Ethiopia works closely with the Ministry of Health and other partners to maintain strong programs in training, treatment, counseling and testing as well as laboratory capacity building. The work of CDC in the country include: HIV/AIDS, malaria, immunizations; NTDs; reproductive health; field epidemiology training and improving Ethiopia’s ability to prevent, detect and respond to infectious disease threats to reach the Global Health Security Agenda targets.
