The School has departments of public health, nursing, midwifery and medicine, field studies of health officer, nursing, midwifery and medical education to produce health professionals equipped with the essential knowledge, skills and values to handle the problems of health care in Ethiopia. The University is engaged in different research. projects including herbal medicine, integrated agriculture, and seed multiplication.
