Pan African Society of Cardiology – PASCAR

PASCAR is a society of physicians from across Africa involved in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The Society is concerned by the lack of progress in the diagnosis and effective treatment of cardiovascular disease across Africa. Hence, PASCAR focuses on identifying key issues, brainstorming novel solutions and designing appropriate programs to combat cardiovascular disease on the continent. The Society has a geographically aligned structure; ie, North, East, South and West. Member countries within the structure are: Sudan; Angola, Mauritius, Mozambique; South Africa; Ethiopia; Kenya Tanzania, Uganda; Burundi, Cameroon; Gabon; Benin; Cote d’Ivoire; Ghana, Niger, Nigeria and Senegal. More collaboration is obtained from Botswana, Egypt, Malawi, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Seychelles, Tunisia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The resources section has infographics, videos and documents.
