The South African Journal of Pre-hospital Emergency Care (SAJPEC) is a peer-reviewed journal that aims to support and inform advances in the science and practice of pre-hospital emergency care with a focus on South Africa. SAJPEC publishes short reports, original research, reviews, case reports, concepts and correspondence relevant to South African pre-hospital emergency care (including inter-hospital transfer care). The journal is the official journal of the Emergency Care Society of South Africa.
